Hi, my name is Sadie. I am new to the Yorkie Friends Rescue group and I am having so
much fun. Here is my story: My mom is in jail and my human sister was trying to take care
of me. But she lived in another town and had to work and she had her own life. She tried
her best. See, I have diabetes and I need insulin twice a day. My sister could only give me
my injection once a day. And it was lonely being by myself all the time. I love people!!! So
my foster mom picked me up one day and I have been having fun all the time now. My
foster mom is learning more and more about me everyday and when she knows a lot about
me, she will let you know. I have a vet appointment soon to see if I am getting the right dose
of insulin and to be updated on my vaccines. After I get checked out I will be all set to go to
my new home. I take my insulin injections really well. And I get a treat afterwords so I know
I have to be good to get that. But I promise to love you and always be there.

Now that Sadie has been in our care for a while, I can tell you more about her. She is a
bigger Yorkie than most. She weighs between 12 and 13 pounds. Sadie is 7 years old and
will turn 8 on December 29th. She can be a barker at times but that is because she has an
opinion about everything. But if you tell her to be quiet, she will. Sadie loves to cuddle and
give kisses. She has the cutest underbite (her lower teeth stick out). She is a real character
and there is never a dull moment. She loves to walk on a leash. She is the best little buddy
who just wants to be around her people. Sadie is located in Missouri and her adoption fee
is $200. If you would like more information, please contact

T.J. came to Yorkie Friends Rescue with Ozzie from the same sad situation.  His mom was pregnant and
recently lost her job.  She could no longer care for the boys.  They were both very scared when they came
to my house.  T.J. is a Silky Terrier.  He is about 7 years old and weighs about 9 pounds.  He is up to date
on vaccines and heartworm negative.  T.J. is neutered and had a dental and still has all of his teeth!!  T.J.
would do best in a very active house.  He is constantly moving and checking everything and everybody out.
If you are a stay at home person and love to take walks, T.J. is for you.  Or if you are constantly on the go
and want to take a buddy with you, check him out.  But when he slows down, he wants nothing but to cuddle
with his special person.  No children under 12 for T.J.'s new family.  He has some issues and if you want to
take anything he considers his, he will take it back.  Remember, I said he still has all of this teeth.  T.J. is
located in central Missouri and we don't ship our animals.  If you are interested in learning more about T.J.
or want to adopt T.J., please email his foster mom at

Peanut                    Scooter
Hi everybody,
My name is Peanut, and handsome guy with me is my brother Scooter.  He is shyer than I am so I get to
do the introductions.  We have been "brothers" for 8 years and have to stay together.  We are both
10 years old.  I weigh 9 lbs and Scooter weighs 12 lbs.  We are all muscle and the vet said we are
very healthy, good boys.

We have been pampered and loved all our lives and need a new family to continue.  We do great with
kids, other dogs and cats.  We love to ride in the car and live for walks.  We are very good on the leash
and listen well.  We are neutered, do not mark in the house and are totally housebroken.

What more could you ask for?  Oh yea, we bark very little.  If you would like to add us to your family
please fill out an adoption application at www.yorkiefriendsrescue.com and put Peanut and Scooter's
name at the top.  Our adoption fee is only $200.00 - for both of us.

Thanks and hurry with those applications,
Peanut and my brother, Scooter

Stuart
"Ok, mom, I'll tell them. Hi, my name is Stuart. And I am looking
for a new forever home. Like my brother, Cody, I was let go from
my job. That's ok, I did not like my job anyway. I was working at
an icky puppymill. I am liking the life I have now. Nothing but soft
beds and nice food. And a loving foster family. I am hoping for a
very loving forever family to find me soon.. Is that you? I am a
quiet boy compared to my brother but I LOVE to cuddle. Dad
says I am very affectionate and love giving kisses on your hand.
I am starting to play but it is going to take some time with me. But
I love to cuddle. I just figured out how to get into bed with mom
and dad and I love to cuddle under the blankets. It was like
camping. I am working hard on potty training but it is going to
take some time because I was never taught before and the vet
and my mom think I am about 7 years old. I am still very young
by Yorkie standards.  If you are interested in learning more
about me, email my foster mom at slh_shorty@yahoo.com. I am
located in Missouriand remember, Yorkie Friends Rescue does
not ship dogs. I don't know if I would like an airplane. Hope to
hear from you soon."

**Please help Stuart!!  He is going to need expensive orthopedic
surgery soon.  He has a Stage IV luxating patella.  Yorkie
Friends Rescue has a lot of sick kids to take care of so if you
could help support Stuart.  It will help us provide this much
needed surgery so he can be a dog for the first time in his life.""
Stuart's adoption donation is $250.
Stuart's surgery and meds will cost $600 thanks to a great
discount given by a generous doctor. Please donate for Stuart!!!
**Stuart is healthy as a horse. His doctor has released him
from care. He is living life as a puppy for the first time. He runs
around like nothing ever happened to him. Stuart is available
for adoption. He is waiting patiently for her new family to find
him. Are you it?**

Lucky
My name is Lucky and I'm even more adorable in person. I have lots of energy and love to play with
toys. I very lovable and cuddle with my foster mom all the time. I am potty trained and have no health
issues, all shots and exams are current. I love to take walks twice a day and I'm a fast walker.
I do have some things that I'm working on with my foster mom. I bark at people when they come to
my door and I'm learning to stop on command. I am aggressive with my toys and learning how to
share and play with my foster mom. I also have a problem with adult males and have bitten a couple
in the past. My foster mom is working really hard on these areas and would love someone that has
time and energy to continue to help train me.
I would love a home with a female owner that lives in Orlando and does NOT have the following;
cats, dogs, children, or male living in household.
If you would like to know more about me, please contact my foster mom at
lmmm256@yahoo.com
I know there is a home for me out there!
